Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: Skoda will have a significant presence at Auto Expo 2025, with a range of exciting models, including the Elroq, showcasing the brand's new 'Modern Solid' design philosophy, with a striking 'Tech-Deck' front. In addition, visitors will get a glimpse of Skoda's forward-thinking Vision 7S concept, offering a sneak peek into the future of mobility. The India-bound Kodiaq will also be on display, adding to the excitement with its sleek design and advanced features tailored for the Indian market. Let’s look at some key elements of the Elroq, and the Vision 7S Concept.
Skoda Elroq
The Elroq’s front design is defined by its wide, flat 'Tech-Deck' face, which reimagines Skoda’s iconic butterfly grille with a contemporary twist. This bold feature is complemented by split headlamps that feature a distinctive 'four-eyes' layout incorporating advanced LED technology as standard, with an upgrade option to powerful Matrix LED units. The Elroq’s aggressive stance is further highlighted by a sharply sculpted hood, which for the first time on a production model, proudly showcases Skoda lettering in dark chrome. At the rear, the electric vehicle boasts sleek, wraparound LED taillights, a striking roof spoiler, and centrally placed Skoda branding on the tailgate, all of which come together to form a dynamic and modern silhouette.

The Skoda Elroq, built on the Volkswagen Group's versatile MEB platform (shared with the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe), offers flexible powertrain options. This platform accommodates both single- and dual-motor configurations.
Internationally, the Elroq comes with three different battery configurations. The entry-level Elroq 50 features a 55kWh battery paired with a 168bhp rear-mounted motor, providing a range of over 370 kilometres. The Elroq 60 steps up with a 63kWh battery and a 201bhp motor, extending the range beyond 400 kilometres. At the top of the line, the Elroq 85 features an 82kWh battery pack, enabling a WLTP range of over 560 kilometres.
The range-topping Elroq 85 is available in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive variants, with the latter, known as the Elroq 85x, set to debut in 2025. The all-wheel-drive model boasts a powerful 282bhp electric motor.
Vision 7S Concept
At the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, Skoda will also unveil the futuristic Vision 7S SUV concept, first introduced in 2022. This concept introduces Skoda's new logo along with the brand's ‘Modern Solid’ design language, a fresh aesthetic now featured in models such as the latest Superb, the soon-to-be-launched Kodiaq, and the Elroq.
