Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: Skoda has showcased the much-anticipated Elroq, which made its global debut last year. The stunning electric SUV has Skoda’s bold new 'Modern Solid' design language and is built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform—shared with the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe. Notably, the MEB platform supports both single- and dual-motor configurations, providing flexibility to suit a variety of driving needs. The Elroq measures 4,488mm in length and has a 2,765mm wheelbase. Globally, it comes with three different battery configurations and a range of up to 560 kilometres. Read on to learn more about Skoda’s electric SUV in detail.

Skoda Elroq: Design

The Elroq’s front showcases the attention-grabbing 'Tech-Deck' face, a broader and sleeker evolution of Skoda’s classic butterfly grille. On either side, split headlamps with bold 'four-eyes' graphics frame the grille, adding to its distinctive look. These headlamps come with advanced LED technology as standard, along with an upgrade option for Matrix LED lights.

The sharply sculpted hood, now featuring the Skoda name in dark chrome, gives the SUV a strong, aggressive presence. The sleek LED taillights wrap around the rear, while a bold roof spoiler adds a finishing touch to the Elroq’s dynamic and contemporary design. The Elroq boasts a drag coefficient of 0.26 with its aerodynamic design, including smooth surfaces and air vents.

Skoda Elroq: Interior

The Elroq's interior merges minimalist design with sustainable materials, creating a modern and eco-conscious space. It showcases a 13.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, paired with a simple button bar for easy navigation. A compact digital display keeps the driver informed with essential details, while an augmented reality head-up display projects key data onto the windshield for enhanced convenience. A key innovation is the integration of ChatGPT into the Laura voice assistant, enabling more sophisticated, AI-powered interactions. Additionally, the Elroq offers practical features like remote parking and charging, along with compatibility with the cutting-edge Skoda wallbox for effortless home charging.

The Elroq’s interior focuses on sustainability with materials like RecyTitan fabric and TechnoFil. It offers 470 litres of cargo space, expanding to 1,580 litres with seats down. Available in Standard, Sportline, and First Edition trims.

Skoda Elroq: Powertrain

The Elroq offers three battery options globally. The entry-level Elroq 50 comes with a 55kWh battery and a 168bhp rear-mounted motor, providing a range of over 370 kilometres. The Elroq 60 upgrades to a 63kWh battery and a 201bhp motor, extending the range to over 400 kilometres. The Elroq 85 tops the range with an 82kWh battery, delivering a WLTP-certified range of over 560 kilometres.
