Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: MG Select, the premium brand division of JSW MG Motor India, has showcased the highly anticipated Cyberster, its brand-new electric sports car, at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Show 2025. The Cyberster features a dual-motor drivetrain paired with an ultra-slim 77kWh battery pack, measuring just 110mm in thickness. The MG model has dimensions of 4,533mm in length, 1,912mm in width, and 1,328mm in height, with a wheelbase spanning 2,689mm. The high-end electric sports car will be available solely at MG Select outlets, with 12 showrooms currently operational across as many cities. Buyers can choose from four eye-catching colours: Diamond Red, Inca Yellow, Ivory White, and Andes Gray. For the uninitiated, the Cyberster is globally offered in six paint jobs, including additional shades like Cosmic Silver and Mystic Teal.
MG Cyberster: Styling Cues
Engineered by former Italian Formula 1 expert Marco Fainello, the Cyberster features an aerodynamic "Kammback" design characterised by its sloping roofline and truncated rear. Its sporty aesthetics are further emphasised by a low-profile front end, sleek LED headlights with integrated Daytime Running Lights, a sculpted bonnet, 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and a split air intake. At the rear, the curvaceous design incorporates arrow-shaped taillights, while the bold lines, sharp creases, and diamond-cut alloy wheels dominate the side profile.

The highlight of the design is the powered scissor doors, granting access to a driver-centric cabin. These doors are equipped with integrated Dual Radar sensors, enhancing safety when opening either upward or sideways, and feature an anti-pinch bounce-back mechanism for additional protection. The Cyberster, MG's first electric sports car, will be sold in India through the newly launched MG Select retail channel.
MG Cyberster: Battery Specs
The e-sportscar is propelled by a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive (AWD) system paired with a 77kWh battery, offering an estimated range of 444 km per charge. MG has highlighted that this battery, just 110mm thick, is the thinnest ever created for a vehicle. The dual-motor setup delivers a combined 504bhp of maximum power and 725Nm of peak torque. The car also offers four driving modes: Comfort, Custom, Sport, and Track.
Furthermore, MG has detailed the Cyberster’s sophisticated suspension system, which includes a double wishbone design at the front and a five-link independent suspension at the rear. This configuration is engineered to enhance traction and ensure optimal stability, delivering a refined and balanced driving experience.
MG Cyberster: Features
The MG Cyberster features a trio of wraparound digital displays, including a vertically oriented infotainment screen with support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The feature list also includes wireless charging, paddle shifters, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, six-way electrically adjustable ventilated seats, a retractable roof, a flat bottom steering wheel, and a high-quality eight-speaker Bose sound system.

On the safety front, the Cyberster is equipped with multiple airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for enhanced protection and driving convenience.
