Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: The Kia Syros SUV will be offered in six variants: HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O), with a choice of eight monotone colour options.

Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: Kia India has showcased the Syros ahead of its price announcement in February. The Kia car presents a combination of modern design and advanced features, catering to the rising demand for premium SUVs in the Indian market. The SUV will be offered in six variants: HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, and HTX+ (O), with a choice of eight monotone colour options including Pewter Olive, Aurora Black Pearl, Frost Blue, Intense Red, Gravity Grey, Imperial Blue, Sparkling Silver, and Glacier White Pearl. The model measures 3,995mm in length, 1,800mm in width, and 1,665mm in height, featuring a wheelbase of 2,550mm. Additionally, it offers a generous 465 litres of boot space, ensuring ample storage capacity. The vehicle will offer a mix of practicality and innovation, reflecting Kia's ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence in India’s automotive landscape. 

Kia Syros: Exterior

The car's design features include a distinctive blanked-out tiger nose grille, a clamshell bonnet bearing the Kia logo, vertically aligned LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights, and a prominent air intake.

The side profile showcases dual-tone alloy wheels, silver roof rails, flush door handles, and 17-inch wheels with black cladding. At the rear, L-shaped taillights, an integrated spoiler, and a shark-fin antenna complete its sporty and modern look. 

Kia Syros: Powertrain

Coming to the mechanical side of things, the Syros comes with two engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. The turbo-petrol engine produces 118bhp and 172Nm of torque, while the diesel engine offers 114bhp and 250Nm.

Transmission options include a six-speed manual, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT), and a six-speed torque converter automatic.

Kia Syros: Feature Suite

The Kia Syros sets itself apart with its expansive dual 12.3-inch displays, surpassing the Sonet’s 10.25-inch screens. It features 64-colour ambient lighting, automatic up/down windows, a high-end Harman/Kardon eight-speaker audio system, a two-spoke steering wheel with the Kia emblem, ventilated seats for all passengers, dual-zone climate control, front parking sensors, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, push-button start, Type-C charging ports, wireless charging, and seamless wireless integration for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Three terrain modes are available: Mud, Snow/Wet, and Sand.

In terms of safety, the SUV is equipped with electronic stability control (ESC), ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold functionality, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and six airbags as standard features. Additionally, it includes Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) offering 16 autonomous features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, high-beam assist, and autonomous emergency braking, enhancing safety and driving convenience.
