The model offers multiple powertrain options, including a hybrid, V6 petrol, and diesel. The hybrid model combines a 1.6-litre turbo petrol mill with an electric motor, driving the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. The petrol engine delivers 175bhp and 265Nm, while the electric motor contributes 71bhp and 102Nm, giving a total output of 239bhp and 367Nm. This makes it more powerful and fuel-efficient than the 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine. The high-end version features shift-by-wire technology and AWD. Hyundai is also reportedly developing an all-electric Staria.
Hyundai Ioniq 9 SUV
Hyundai has blended cutting-edge aerodynamic technology with a sleek, futuristic design in the Ioniq 9, giving it a distinctive ‘Aerosthetic’ look. The front features Parametric Pixels integrated into the LED light units and lower fascia, offering a refined and modern appearance. Its flowing roofline contributes to a smooth, aerodynamic profile, achieving a low drag coefficient of just 0.259 Cd when fitted with digital side mirrors.
Standard features include full LED combination lamps and 19-inch wheels, with optional 20- and 21-inch sizes available. Coming to the paint jobs, the EV is globally offered in 16 options, including Celadon Gray Matte, Ionosphere Green Pearl, Sunset Brown Pearl, Cosmic Blue Pearl, and Celadon Gray Metallic.
