Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: At the 2025 Auto Expo, Tata Motors displayed the revamped Tiago and Tiago EV, introduced only a few days ago. The carmaker has begun accepting bookings for the 2025 versions of the Tata Tiago and Tiago.ev. These updated models sport a refreshed front design and come equipped with advanced features, including an electronic stability program (ESP), a 360-degree camera system, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display. New paint jobs have also been introduced, alongside a restructured variant lineup that adds fresh trims and includes a price increase of up to Rs 30,000. It is important to note that the engine and powertrain options remain unchanged. The 2025 Tata Tiago starts at Rs 4.99 lakh, whereas the electric Tiago is priced at Rs 7.99 lakh. Prices are ex-showroom.
Tata Tiago, Tiago EV: Interior and Exterior
The cabins of both models share a dual-tone dashboard design but differ in interior theme and subtle feature distinctions. High-end versions will come equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, alongside features such as automatic air conditioning, a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, an electronic stability control (ESC), a revamped digital instrument cluster, cruise control, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), rain-sensing wipers, push-button start, a stylish two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, dual-tone seat upholstery, and an HD rear parking camera.

Exterior highlights for the ICE-powered Tiago come in the form of updated sleek LED headlights and a shark fin antenna. Meanwhile, the Tiago EV now sports 14-inch aerodynamically designed alloy wheels, fresh paint options (Lime and Blue), a redesigned grille, and EV badges on the front doors.
Tata Tiago, Tiago EV: Mechanical Setup
The Tiago petrol houses a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated (NA) engine, delivering a maximum power output of 85bhp and 113Nm of torque. Buyers have the option to select either a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT (automated manual transmission).

The Tiago EV offers two battery choices: a 19.2kWh Medium Range battery and a 24kWh Long Range battery. The Medium Range variant is equipped with a 60bhp motor and is claimed to provide a range of 250km, while the Long Range version generates 74bhp and offers a range of 315km. With a DC fast charger, the Tiago EV can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 57 minutes. The car manufacturer also provides a standard 3.3kW AC wall box charger, with an optional 7.2kW AC fast charger available for faster charging.
