Bharat Mobility Show 2025: Tata Motors India has unveiled the Tata Harrier EV, an all-electric SUV, at the Auto Expo 2025. Based on the Harrier model, the Harrier EV marks Tata's entry into the mid-size electric SUV market and includes an all-wheel drive (AWD) system. Set to launch later this year, it features modern technology, improved performance, and design updates that differentiate it from its internal combustion engine (ICE) version. Tata Motors aims to strengthen its presence in the growing EV segment. Pricing and further details will be announced in the coming months.

Tata Harrier EV: Design

The Harrier EV features a refreshed design with key EV-specific elements. The front has a closed grille and a connected LED DRL strip, replacing the traditional grille on the ICE model. The new bumper adds to the modern look.

From the side, the Harrier EV keeps the same shape as the ICE version but includes aero-optimised 5-spoke alloy wheels and EV badging on the front doors to highlight its electric identity.

At the rear, the SUV has LED taillights, a shark-fin antenna, and a roof-mounted spoiler. It also includes "Harrier EV" lettering on the tailgate, a redesigned bumper, and a silver skid plate.

Tata Harrier EV: Powertrain

The Harrier EV features an all-wheel drive (AWD) system, marking a major upgrade compared to its ICE counterpart. This is the first Tata vehicle in years to offer AWD, powered by a dual-motor setup with one motor on each axle for better traction and performance.

While full specifications are not yet available, Tata has confirmed that the Harrier EV will provide a peak torque of 500 Nm. More details, including power output, battery capacity, and range, will be shared closer to the vehicle’s official launch.
