Auto Expo 2023: MG Motor India has revealed the Euniq 7, a brand-new hydrogen fuel cell electric car (FCEV) at the Auto Show in India. With a 6.4kg hydrogen tank, the MG Euniq 7 Fuel Cell MPV offers 605 kilometres of range. The Prome P390 fuel-cell powertrain from MG, which can withstand temperatures of up to 824 degrees, powers the Euniq 7. The MPV could rival the recently unveiled Kia Carnival in India. With a length of 5,200mm, the Euniq 7 is nearly the same size as the Kia Carnival. The MG MPV offers a variety of seating configurations, including a seven-seat layout and a six-seat model with captain seats in the middle row. It is showcased as a high-end MPV that features sliding rear doors. The towering front design is dominated by a wide grille and extended LED headlights.

Wraparound taillights coupled with a chrome insert make up the back end's more straightforward style, and the black borders make the rear windscreen appear larger. The Hyundai Nexo and the Toyota Mirai are the other two FCEVs on display at the Auto Expo 2023, making the Euniq 7 one of just three.
According to MG, the FCEV can function at temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius, and even under these conditions, the promised range is unaffected. The MG Euniq 7 weighs well over two tonnes, making it far from a lightweight vehicle, but its motor nevertheless enables it to reach 0 to 50km/h in 4.9 seconds and attain a top speed of 150 kilometres according to the manufacturer. The Euniq 7 solely emits water vapour, much like every other hydrogen FCEV, and the automaker even claims it serves as a portable air filter.
