Hyundai Ioniq 6
At the 2023 Auto Expo, Hyundai will display the Ioniq 6 full-size electric sedan. With a drag coefficient of just 0.21Cd for the model, the automaker made headlines in the automobile industry. This extremely low drag gives the full-size car a very distinctive swooping shape. The Ioniq 6's dual-motor version produces 320bhp of maximum power and 605Nm of peak torque, whereas the full-size electric sedan's RWD variant comprises a 228bhp electric motor and 350Nm of peak torque. Aside from that, the most efficient model boasts a WLTP-certified range of 614 kilometres per full charge.
Hyundai Nexo
The NEXO is a stylish crossover with a conventional yet modern appearance. It is equipped with a pump that propels oxygen from the air and hydrogen from the fuel tank into a stack of fuel cells, where chemical reactions turn the gases into electricity and water. An electric motor that powers the vehicle receives this electricity in turn. Additionally, it contains a 15.6kWh battery to store any extra fuel cell energy and enable regenerative braking for energy recovery.
The 52-litre fuel tank of the NEXO can hold around 6.35kg of hydrogen while producing 161bhp of power and 395Nm of peak torque. Customers get a range of 570 to 600 kilometres, depending on the variant. According to Hyundai, the crossover can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.5 seconds, which is quite fast. Either the battery or the fuel cell stack provides power to the wheels.

The ADAS zone, which will demonstrate Hyundai SmartSense or Level 2 ADAS technology through Virtual Reality (VR) and games, will be another noteworthy attraction. The latest generation Tucson already has Level 2 ADAS, and it is expected that the safety technology will also be included in the Creta facelift that will be launched later this year. With its Hyundai Mobility Adventure, the automaker will also enter the Roblox Metaverse, delivering a virtual experience for a more engaging brand experience. Maruti Suzuki has already embraced the Metaverse for its offerings, and Hyundai will follow suit. The Hyundai Metaverse will be available to visitors at the automaker's booth.
Further, the 'Future of Mobility' zone of the Hyundai pavilion promises to have a display of cutting-edge robots including ATLAS, H-MEX, and MobED. These demonstrate various robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) technology. At the event, Boston Dynamics' mobile robot SPOT will also be present. Additionally, the manufacturer will showcase a scale model of Urban Air Mobility and a purpose-built vehicle, together with its connected car technology.
