The Audi TT (where TT stands for Tourist Trophy) first hit the scene at the Frankfurt Motorshow in 1995 and since then hasn’t changed much but is loads of fun when you take it out for a spin around the track.

The Audi TT was already light but the German car manufacturer decided to take its war-on-weight campaign to a whole new level. The Audi TT Ultra Quattro Concept is the returnee from the fat camp and now it has lost a massive 300 kg of flab.

Audi has made significant structural and material revisions to this Ultra Quattro concept and it now weighs in at 1111 kgs. The Audi TT Ultra Quattro Concept will see improvements not only in the departments of handling and braking, but will also see a jump in performance.

The 2.0-liter TFSI engine will put out 305 hp and 400 Nm of torque. This will propel this svelte TT from 0-100 km/h in 4.2-seconds and boasts of a top speed of 273km/h. Its lighter, its faster, what else do you need?
