Audi RS Q8 Performance Launched at Rs 2.49 Crore in India

Audi India has launched the 2025 RS Q8 Performance, its most powerful road-oriented ICE model. Featuring a revamped mechanical core, improved aerodynamics, and a more aggressive design, the RS Q8 Performance will take on rivals such as the Porsche Cayenne GTS, Aston Martin DBX, and the Lamborghini Urus SE. With an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 2.49 crore, the RS Q8 Performance is poised to make a bold statement in the high-performance SUV market in India, combining exceptional power with sophisticated style. On the global stage, the facelifted RS Q8 made headlines by setting a new record as the fastest SUV around the Nurburgring, surpassing the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT Coupe by 2 seconds. This makes the RS Q8 a standout in the luxury performance SUV segment.
Audi RS Q8 Performance: Mechanical Setup
The RS Q8 is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering an impressive 631bhp of maximum power and 850Nm of peak torque in the Performance variant. This power is managed through Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed automatic transmission. It sprints from 0 to 100km/h in a mere 3.6 seconds and is capable of exceeding a top speed of 305km/h. The SUV boasts adaptive air suspension and active roll stabilisation.

In comparison, the updated RS Q8 generates 592bhp and 800Nm, with a 0-100km/h time of 3.8 seconds. This marks an increase of 40bhp and 50Nm of torque over the previous model.
Audi RS Q8 Performance: Exterior
The refreshed RS Q8 retains its iconic design while introducing several subtle updates. The grille now features a black finish with the signature honeycomb pattern. The LED headlights are darkened, and sleek LED DRLs have been added. The front bumper is redesigned, now incorporating a larger air intake.

The 23-inch alloy wheels are blacked out, boosting the vehicle's sporty appearance. Red brake callipers provide a striking contrast, highlighting the performance-focused design. For the first time, the RS Q8 is equipped with OLED taillights. Additionally, the rear diffuser, spoiler, and shark fin antenna further enhance the SUV's dynamic and athletic look.
Audi RS Q8 Performance: Inside the Cabin

Stepping inside the cabin, you will notice an abundance of gloss black accents that enhance the premium feel, while Alcantara finishes on the steering wheel, gear lever, and door panels contribute to a sportier vibe. The interior features two large screens – one for infotainment and another for the driver’s display. For added comfort, you can opt for sportier seats.
