The Four-Ring firm will finally launch the Audi Q8 e-tron SUV in India tomorrow. Post the launch, the model will be available in our market in both the Standard SUV and Sportback Coupe body styles. For those unaware, the luxury firm recently opened the order books for the car in India for Rs 5 lakh. Now, after considerable suspense, the luxurious vehicle's exact prices will finally be revealed tomorrow. An important note is that the upcoming Audi Q8 e-tron SUV is an improved and redesigned version of the current Audi e-tron, the premium automaker's first-ever electric SUV. Before the new e-SUV arrives on Indian soil tomorrow, let's take a look at its design, features, and other amenities.

Audi Q8 e-tron: Battery & Range
The new Q8 e-tron will come in two variants: 50 and 55. In contrast to the base e-tron 50 version, which will get a 95kWh battery, the top-spec 55 trim receives a 114kWh battery pack and is expected to give a range of up to 600 kilometre per charge. The base 50 version, will produce 340bhp and 664Nm, whereas the higher-spec 55 trim will generate a marginally greater output of 408bhp at the same 664Nm. Using 170kW of DC rapid charging, the battery of the trims can be charged from 10% to 80% in 31 minutes. The vehicle will also receive a 22kW AC charger, which can fully charge the battery in only six hours.
Audi Q8 e-tron: Exterior & Interior
According to the automaker, the electric SUV has a powerful, bold aesthetic perfect for the road. The grille on the SUV combines closed panels with mesh and is topped with the brand's emblem. On either side of the sleek, all-black panel are two Sharp Matrix LED headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights. Moreover, huge wheels are on the side of the e-SUV. The vehicle's contemporary LED taillights are joined at the back by a thin LED strip that runs along the centre of the tailgate. Further, nine exterior paints—Madeira Brown, Chronos Grey, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Plasma Blue, Soneira Red, Magnet Grey, Siam Beige, and Manhattan Grey—will be available for the forthcoming electric SUV.
Inside, the upcoming model will have a 10.1-inch infotainment system and an 8.6-inch device for HVAC management. Other interior highlights will be a four-zone climate control system, a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, etc. The Audi Q8 e-tron will be available in three interior paint options: all-black, Okapi Brown and Pearl Beige.

As already mentioned, the luxury carmaker has started taking pre-orders for the Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron. Interested clients can reserve the model of their choice by paying a token amount of Rs 5 lakh.

Audi Q8 e-tron: Price Expectation
According to several industry reports, the new SUV will cost more than the existing model, which sells for Rs 1.02 crore (ex-showroom). Upon its launch, the SUV will compete against the BMW iX, the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV, and more.
