The brand of the four rings has officially revealed images of the all-electric Audi Q6 e-tron prototype ahead of its international debut. Recently, the luxury car manufacturer conducted a media drive; wherein the personnel had the chance to drive the model in prototype form. On the sidelines of the media drive, the carmaker dropped a few details about the upcoming electric vehicle. The model will mark its entry into the global market in the standard Q6 and the sporty SQ6 versions, which will be built on the new PPE (Premium Platform Electric) chassis. Both variants will debut with the newest lighting technology from Audi.

The second-generation OLED taillights feature animations warning following vehicles of impending risks, and the split-headlight design includes customizable daytime running lights. Customers may now use a total of eight available digital light signatures in the new daytime running lights in the Matrix LED headlights and digital OLED rear lights 2.0 to tailor the appearance of their all-electric Q6 e-tron. This can be made possible by both the MMI and the brand-new myAudi app. After acquiring their car, customers can additionally purchase digital light signatures.
Audi Q6 e-tron: Battery & Platform
The upcoming Audi Q6 e-tron will include a dual motor configuration and a 100 kWh battery. With this setup, the base model will be capable of delivering 370bhp, but by employing the power boost feature, this figure can go up to 390bhp. According to the firm, the standard version can reach 0-100km/h in less than 6 seconds. Further, approximately 373 kilometre is the anticipated WLTP range for this variant.
Coming to the sportier SQ6 e-tron model, the power output is anticipated to be between 476bhp and 503bhp in the boost mode. This sportier model will reportedly be able to sprint from zero to 100km/h in less than 4.5 seconds.
The Audi Q6 e-tron will be built on the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, which was created in collaboration with Porsche. Batteries can charge from 10% to 80% in less than 30 minutes using this architecture, which has an 800-volt system with charging speeds of up to 270kW.

Audi Q6 e-tron: Global Market Introduction
As of now, there is no official update about the launch of the electric Q6 e-tron. Several industry reports assert that the luxury car manufacturer will officially unveil the all-electric vehicle by late 2023 or in 2024, followed by the launch somewhere around 2025.
