With a starting price of ₹67.05 lakh, Audi India has launched the Q5 Special Edition today. This edition, which will be only offered in limited units and is based on the highest-spec Technology trim, costs ₹84,000 more than the standard Technology trim. Let's take a closer look at the key highlights of this special edition.
The Audi Q5 Special Edition comes equipped with several upgrades, including a new black styling package, black mirror housing, blacked-out Audi logos, black roof rails, and five-spoke V-style alloy wheels with graphite grey diamond cuts. Only two exterior colours are available – the Special Edition-Ibis White and a new District Green.
The same 2.0-litre 45 TFSI engine that powers the Audi Q5 will be used in the Audi Q5 Special Edition, producing 249bhp and 370Nm of torque. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 6.3 seconds and has a top speed of 237km/h.
Mr Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, commented on the new edition, saying, 'The Audi Q5 is a volume seller, and we are happy to introduce a special edition for our customers. The Audi Q5 special edition will be available in limited units and is being offered in two new shades in addition to a host of styling enhancements. With quattro all-wheel drive and a feature-rich package, the Audi Q5 will continue to stand out in the segment.'
Other features that are still available on the Q5 Special Edition include a 12.2-inch digital driver's display, LED headlamps, a panoramic sunroof, 30-colour ambient lighting, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, three-zone climate control, a wireless charger, and powered front seats.
The price of the Audi Q5 Premium Plus model is ₹60.50 lakh, while the Technology trim costs ₹66.21 lakh. And the special edition is priced at ₹67.05 lakh (ex-showroom).
