The Audi Q5 has received a mid-life makeover and is all set to be launched in the coming weeks.
The Audi Q5 facelift will be launched in India on November 23. The brand has already commenced bookings for the upcoming SUV for a token amount of Rs 2 lakh. The pricing of the crossover-SUV is expected to be between Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom).
The updated Audi Q5 will mainly lock horns with the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Volvo XC60, Lexus NX, and Range Rover Evoque.
The updated Audi Q5 will have a reworked fascia. The grille gets a new design, along with a reworked head and tail lamp assembly. The alloy wheels on offer will be 19-inch in diameter; however, you also get an option of larger 20-inch wheels.
Inside the cabin, there are minimal changes. The in-cabin experience is similar to that of its predecessor. The new Q5 will feature a 10.1-inch MMI infotainment system, with Android Auto and Apple Carplay. For instrumentation, the new Q5 will offer a 12.3-inch all-digital screen.
The engine will be the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol motor paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch auto. The power output is marked at 248bhp in the 5,000 – 6,000rpm band. The peak torque of 370Nm is available from 1,600rpm up to 4,500rpm. The power will be forwarded to all wheels via an all-wheel-drive system.
