Audi Q5 Bold Edition Launched in India at Rs 72.30 Lakh, Available in Limited Numbers

Priced at Rs 72.30 lakh (ex-showroom), the Audi Q5 Bold Edition is Rs 1.50 lakh more expensive than the Technology variant of the Q5 SUV.

A couple of months after launching the Q7 Bold Edition, Audi has launched the Q5 Bold Edition at Rs 72.30 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. This new edition is Rs 1.50 lakh more expensive than the Technology variant of the Q5 SUV. Audi says it will be sold in limited numbers, although we do not know the exact number of models to be sold. Interested customers can make reservations for the Q5 Bold Edition through the company's website or by visiting the authorised dealership.  

On the outside, the Audi Q5 Bold Edition gets a black styling package. This means that the front grille, outside rearview mirrors, window surrounds, roof rails, and even Audi logos are all finished in high gloss black. A set of 19-inch wheels as well as a suspension system with damper control are also present. As for colour options, buyers can choose from the following –Navarra Blue, Mythos Black, Glacier White, District Green, and Manhattan Gray.

Audi Q5 Bold Edition: Interior

Inside, the Audi Q5 Bold Edition packs in a panoramic sunroof, Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, Audi Smartphone Interface, powered front seats, three-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a 19-speaker Bang and Olufsen music system, park assist, 8 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and wireless charging.

Audi Q5 Bold Edition: Powertrain

Under the hood, the Q5 Bold Edition comes with a 2.0-litre TFSi petrol engine mated to a seven-speed DCT gearbox and a Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The engine is tuned to produce 261bhp and 370Nm of peak torque, resulting in a claimed 0–100km/h acceleration time of 6.1 seconds before topping out at 240km/h.

Also available are 6 driving modes – Comfort, Dynamic, Individual, Efficiency, Auto, and Off-Road.
