Audi India has finally launched the long-awaited Q3 Sportback. A while ago, bookings for the brand-new Audi Q3 Sportback started at Rs 2 lakh. Audi revealed the ‘coupe over’ in July 2019 in the global market, and now the carmaker has launched the model in our market. There are five exterior colour options – Navarra Blue, Turbo Blue, Glacier White, Chronos Grey, and Mythos Black – and two interior colour options – Pearl Beige and Okapi Brown – available for the Audi Q3 Sportback. The Sportback gets a sloping roofline, a coupe-like body design, a honeycomb pattern grille, and blacked-out exterior components. Additionally, it gets split LED taillamps and LED headlamps with DRLs, along with 18-inch 5-spoke V-style alloy wheels.
A 2.0-litre TFSI (Turbo Fuel Stratified Injection) engine powers the Sportback, offering 188bhp and 320Nm. The engine comes coupled with an all-wheel drive system called Quattro and a 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission). Except for a ‘Car-to-X’ technology that predicts green lights and an Amazon Alexa voice control interface, the interior of the brand-new Sportback resembles that of the standard Q3 model.
