Audi launches limited edition versions of the A6 and Q7 with cosmetic enhancements and added equipment.
Audi India has launched new trim versions of its A6 executive luxury saloon and Q7 full size SUV. Audi’s limited edition Design Edition models come equipped with additional equipment and features to add a dose of fresh appeal to the cars.
The most noticeable change on the Audi Q7 Design Edition is the full paint finish that does away with the black plastic cladding seen on lower sections around the standard car. The car also gets 20-inch rims and gloss black finish on the running boards and tail pipes. Exterior changes are rounded off by smoked tail lamps. The puddle lamps of the cars now project the Audi logo from the front doors while the rear ones project the quattro logo. The car has now also been fitted with Audi’s Smartphone interface for the infotainment system. The Q7 Design Edition is priced at Rs. 81.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
“We have been at the forefront of creating the luxury SUV segment in India and the Audi Q7 has been the model that set the ball rolling for us. The Audi Q7 has always been for luxury connoisseurs who appreciate the finest in life and I am confident that the Audi Q7 Design Edition will appeal to India’s best,” said, Rahil Ansari, Head Audi India.
The Audi A6 Design Edition likewise gets puddle lamps for all doors to project the Audi logo, 19-inch alloy wheels, Audi Smartphone interface and rear seat entertainment screens. The A6 Design Edition is priced at Rs. 56.78 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
“The Audi A6 has been one of our most popular sedans not only in India but globally. As we are celebrating 10 years of successful journey of Audi in India, we are launching the Audi A6 Design Edition to celebrate the increasing demand and success of the Audi A6. With the Audi A6 Design Edition, we want to reach out to India’s smart luxury car buyers who are looking at an exclusive purchase,” said, Rahil Ansari, Head Audi India.
