Audi will increase the prices of its models in India from January 1, 2025, due to growing transportation and input costs. For now, the exact figures are unknown, but the hike will be up to 3%. Audi sells more than 16 cars in our market, including the Q7, Q8, S5 Sportback, RS5 Sportback, A4, A6, Q3, Q3 Sportback, Q5, Q6, RS Q8, Q8 50 e-tron, Q8 55 e-tron, Q8 Sportback 50 e-tron, e-tron GT Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron, and RS e-tron GT. It has recently launched the updated Q7 SUV for Rs 88.66 lakh.
Speaking on the upcoming price hike, Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said ‘We are implementing a price adjustment of up to 3 per cent, effective from 1 January 2025, due to rising input costs. This correction is essential for Audi India and our dealer partners to ensure sustainable growth. We remain committed to minimising the impact of the price hike on our valued customers.'

Interestingly, two other leading German automakers, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, have also confirmed to raise the prices of their models in India by up to 3%. While BMW has not provided specific reasons for the increase, Mercedes-Benz attributes the hike to rising input costs, inflationary pressures, and higher operational expenses.

New Audi Q7
The Audi Q7 facelift, a CKD (completely knocked down) unit, is locally assembled at the company’s plant in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (formerly Aurangabad), Maharashtra. It comes in two primary variants: the Premium Plus and Technology. The latter is priced at Rs 97.81 lakh (ex-showroom).
The updated SUV gets a new grille adorned with vertical chrome accents, cutting-edge HD Matrix LED headlights, LED DRLs with digital signatures, a modified bumper with air intakes, and newly designed 19-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the facelifted Audi Q7 receives a few feature improvements like a revamped virtual cockpit and a lane change warning system. It now offers two new interior hues: Saiga Beige and Cedar Brown. Mechanically, the Q7 continues to use the 3.0-litre V6 engine that churns out a maximum power of 340bhp and a peak torque of 500Nm.
