Audi India today pulled the wraps off the 2013 RS5 coupe and might we say, it looks simply stunning. Audi has priced this performance car at Rs 95.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra).
The updated RS5 does not get any mechanical changes, but cosmetic changes to the front-end of the car make it look appealing and sporty. Audi has revised the front grille of the RS5 and has given it the new-look Audi Daytime Running Lights, updated LED taillamps and revised front and rear bumpers. The RS5 also comes with a sport exhaust system and sits on chunky 20-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the RS5 now comes with Bluetooth connectivity for the stereo and also comes with optional equipment. You can now choose to buy your RS5 with cooled and heated seats, a sports suspension, the Drive Select driving dynamic system and a Bang and Olufsen sound system.
To be imported as a CBU, the Audi RS5 is powered with the same 4.2-litre V8 engine which churns out a hefty 444bhp. Mated to a 7-speedS-Tronic gearbox, it sprints from 0-100kph in 4.5 seconds.
Audi has already sold 60 RS5’s in India and looking at the demand for this car, it hopes to up those numbers in the coming years. Audi’s assault on the luxury car segment will be furthered as they plan to launch the S6 on the 12th of July at BIC. We will be there and will tell you about it. Stay tuned!
