To commemorate 15 years of operation in India, Audi has announced a segment-first initiative for its customers.
The company has introduced warranty coverage for five years with unlimited mileage for all its cars sold this year, starting June 01, 2022. Audi India's range in India usually gets a 2-year standard warranty expandable to cover the third, fourth and fifth year at an additional cost. The German manufacturer, for the remainder of the year, has made this extended warranty cover a part of the standard package. Audi has said that the warranty covers “any repair or replacement of component failures.”
Mr Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, commented “To celebrate fifteen glorious years in India, we have announced a segment-first warranty coverage for five years with unlimited mileage for our customers this year, starting June 01, 2022. This is a milestone initiative and we are very happy to offer complete peace of mind package. This initiative is in the line focuses on Human Centricity which inspires us to be customer-oriented at continued confidence in its vehicles is demonstrated by the extended warranty package provided for customers.”
So far, Audi’s shed has been quite silent in 2022. The company launched facelifted Q7 earlier this year and is now gearing up to launch the refreshed A8 flagship sedan in India. The upcoming A8 will come with petrol powertrains only with the brand’s parent Volkswagen deciding to ditch diesel engines in India since the implementation of BS-VI regulations in 2020.
