The current version of the A4 was launched in January 2021.
Audi India has taken its smallest sedan, the A4, and given it a fresh lease of life by introducing new colour options and adding a few new features. The sedan continues to be sold in three variants (Premium, Premium Plus, and Technology) – the top-of-the-line variant has received some additional features.
It's available in two colours – Tango Red and Manhattan Grey. Unlike the new features, these new colours are available across the three variants of the A4 sedan. As far as the new features are concerned, Audi has introduced a new B&O sound system on the top-spec Technology variant of the A4. It also gets a new flat-bottom steering wheel.
The B&O sound system comprises 19 speakers, which include both a central speaker and a subwoofer, along with a 16-channel amplifier. The total output of the system is rated at 575 Watts, which is enough for most audiophiles.
Audi has left the powertrain untouched, so you continue to get the 2.0-litre TFSI motor with the mild-hybrid system with a power output of 188bhp and 320Nm – all that drive is channelled to the front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
With this minor update, the Audi A4 continues to rival the likes of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and BMW 3 Series.
