The most performance-focused car from the British carmaker featuring a six-litre V12 engine producing 592bhp – the Vantage GT12 – will make its global debut in a little over two weeks time.

This is a brand that made James Bond more stylish. Many believe that vice-versa is true too, but Aston Martin is a brand that everyone knows even if you are not a big fan of Agent 007. The latest car from the British carmaker is known as Vantage GT12 and will make its global debut on June 25 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

This extremely lightweight Vantage is powered by a six-litre V12 producing 592bhp (600PS) of power and is aimed at bridging the gap between a car that is track oriented and one that is seen on roads. To make this car more exclusive, Aston Martin will make only 100 such cars and the line has already started being formed by the eager prospective buyers.

Visitors to Goodwood’s Moving Motor Show will get a sneak preview of the GT12 on Thursday, June 25. The car will then go on to participate in the famous 1.16 mile long Goodwood Hill Climb course.

The car is inspired by Aston Martin’s GT3 race car and has been reengineered and restyled to carry on the brand’s racing legacy. The car is packed with race-inspired features, from its lower and wider stance and track-focused aerodynamics package to the extensive use of carbon-fibre throughout.
