The Aston Martin Vantage 007 Edition is a tribute to The Living Daylights Aston Martin V8, while the DBS Superleggera 007 Edition brings to the table a bespoke No Time To Die specification.
To celebrate the upcoming release of the 25th James Bond movie – No Time To Die – Aston Martin's special vehicle division, Q by Aston Martin, has come up with two exclusive '007' special editions based on the DBS Superleggera and the Vantage. These have been inspired by the Aston Martin vehicles used in the film.
The Vantage 007 Edition's inspiration also stems from the original Aston Martin V8, which made its debut in the James Bond film The Living Daylights in 1987. The latter has also been featured in No Time to Die. Bespoke styling elements on the Vantage 007 Edition come in the form of a bespoke mesh grille with chrome bezel and a dashed yellow diffuser. The car can even be ordered with a set of The Living Daylights-inspired skis and ski rack.
There's a single Cumberland Grey exterior paint colour available, with obsidian black leather upholstery and dark-chrome '007' branding. Available with both manual and automatic gearbox options, only 100 units of the Vantage 007 Edition will be commissioned, globally.
The second '007' special edition model, based on the range-topping DBS Superleggera, will be an even more exclusive machine, as only 25 units will be developed. Each of the 25 units will receive a sill plaque for the car's serial number.
The DBS Superleggera 007 Edition has been created to mark the model's debut in the James Bond film franchise. The exterior finished in special Ceramic Grey paint features bits like the roof, mirror caps, splitter, diffuser, and rear Aeroblade IITM, finished in bespoke black-tinted carbon fibre. Also unique to the DBS Superleggera 007 Edition are the 21-inch diamond-turned Y-Spoke wheels, finished in gloss black. The 715bhp/900Nm 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 motor though remains unchanged.
First deliveries of the Vantage 007 Edition and the DBS Superleggera 007 Edition will begin in Q1 2021.
