Aston Martin's bespoke division, Q by Aston Martin, has unveiled the Valiant, a special edition of the Valour supercar commissioned by Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso. The Valiant represents a performance-oriented evolution of the Valour, featuring a lighter weight, increased power output, and a focus on track capability. Notably, the Valiant boasts a six-speed manual transmission, catering to driving enthusiasts. Production will be strictly limited to 38 units, all of which have been pre-sold despite exceeding a price point of USD 3 million. This exclusive offering transcends a one-off commission, solidifying its position as a coveted collector's item within the automotive realm.

Aston Martin Valiant: Design
The Valiant improves the Valour's design. Its revised bumper with a pronounced splitter at the front and larger grille show this. New winglet-equipped skirts improve aerodynamics along sides. At the rear, a large spoiler and a redesigned bumper with a diffuser and quad-tip exhaust underscore its performance focus. Its athletic appearance stems from the exposed carbon fibre finishing of the roof and rear window louvres.
Aston Martin Valiant: Interior
In contrast to the Valour's luxurious interior, the Valiant adopts a more functional aesthetic. Aston Martin has focused on driver engagement by eliminating the central armrest on the carbon fibre console. Essential creature comforts, like climate control and a central touchscreen, are retained. Additionally, the gear selector area has been strategically exposed, showcasing the car's intricate mechanical workings. The redesigned steering wheel adheres to a minimalist principle, devoid of extraneous switchgear to minimize distractions during spirited driving. Safety remains paramount, with standard equipment including Recaro Podium bucket seats, four-point harnesses, and a semi-integrated roll cage for enhanced occupant protection.

Aston Martin Valiant: Engine
Each Valiant will be powered by a 745bhp twin-turbo V12 engine displacing 5.2 litres and paired with an exhilarating six-speed manual transmission. For weight-saving, it includes a 3D-printed rear subframe and magnesium torque tube.
The Valiant's selectable drive modes (Sport, Sport Plus, and Track) have been expertly calibrated to progressively unlock its full potential, enhancing its allure as a collector's gem. While deliveries are scheduled for Q4 of 2024, all units have already been claimed by their respective buyers.
