Sit back. British luxury car maker Aston Martin is all set to launch its limited edition track-only supercar, known as the Vulcan.

The 800 bhp+ all carbon-fibre beast is powered by a 7.0 L V12 engine, built in conjunction with Aston Martin’s racing division that successfully competes in GTE class of World Endurance Championship, among other categories.

A six-speed gearbox will transmit the power to the rear wheels studded with Michelin’s 19-inch race specific tyres. Brakes are supplied by renowned Italian company Brembo.

Ahead of its global unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show, CEO, Dr. Andy Palmer, said, “Aston Martin Vulcan is, by its very nature, a rare and thrilling supercar. Designed and engineered to deliver a genuinely bespoke driving experience that draws on our rich heritage, this car tailors its power and handling to both the capabilities of the driver and the characteristics of the track."

“A sports car for true sports car lovers, I believe the Aston Martin Vulcan – and the unique ownership programme that sits behind it – sets a whole new standard in the ultra-high luxury supercar class,’’ he added.

Only 24 lucky owners will be able to take this car to a nearby track. All of them will be offered to take part in Aston Martin’s driver development programme, supported by Le Mans winner Darren Turner.

Prior to taking over the keys to the Vulcan, customers will get behind the wheels of Aston Martin’s older cars including the Vantage S and One-77 to develop their track technique. Furthermore, they will get a chance to refine their driving in F1-style simulators.
