Aston Martin will bring Bertone's version of the Rapide Shooting Brake concept to the Geneva Motorshow which commences from the 5th of March. The Italian design and coach building firm, Bertone, had produced a similar concept way back in 2004 with the Aston Martin Vanquish (Jet 2) and now they have done it again and created this concept car called the Jet 2+2.

There are no changes in the dimensions or mechanicals for the Rapide Shooting brake and Bertone has been able to adapt to the existing design lines and stretch the muscular lines of the car and make it look elegant. A full-length LED light strip running across the rear end of the car adds not only  to the design but overall styling of thus completing its transformation from a saloon to shooting brake. The concept is powered by a 5.9-litre V12, which generates 470bhp and which is seen in the current line-up of the Rapide. Wonder why they did not use the engine (550bhp) from the Rapide S.
