Aston Martin's new super saloon Lagonda officially broke cover after Oman Airlines revealed its images. This hand-made limousine is so exclusive that only 100 units will be manufactured and will only be sold in the Middle East. This luxury flagship vehicle will arrive in 2015 with a price tag reportedly in excess of a million dollars.

Apart from the signature Aston Martin grille, the car’s design is very different from the current Astons, like its roofline, rear and side profile. As this car will especially be for the Middle East, the Lagonda is undergoing a four-week weather test under the scorching Oman heat and will cover over 22,500 km before it is shipped back to UK. The marquee automaker purposely chose black paint to further push its prototype's limits.

Based on the same VH architecture like the current Aston Martin cars, it is understood that the Lagonda is expected to be powered by 550bhp 6.0-litre V12,which is also used by the Rapide. Power will be sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission and it is expected to do 0-100 km around the 5-second mark with a top speed in the region of 321 km/h.
