In 2023, Aston Martin is commemorating its 110th anniversary. With 110 Astons on the Silverstone Circuit during the course of the British Grand Prix weekend, the firm honoured its long history. Moreover, the brand also celebrated the track's new Formula One facility' launch. The brand's history, present, and future were all present for the parade of cars celebrating its 11 decades of operations. The brand-new DB12 joined relics like the A3, which is almost 100 years old and is Aston's oldest surviving vehicle. For those unaware, in May, Aston Martin unveiled the new DB12, which is powered by a Mercedes-AMG 671-horsepower V8 engine. In addition to the DBX707 crossover and the new Valkyrie hypercar, Aston owners from across the globe descended to the venue to participate in the lap. Aston Martin Vantage and the DBX707 were joined to the lineup by the FIA Safety and Medical cars, which were present on the starting grid.

Speaking on this special milestone event, Lawrence Stroll, Executive Chairman, Aston Martin, said: “We promised that 2023, Aston Martin’s 110th anniversary year, would be a monumental one for the brand. Not only did we set out to introduce our highly anticipated next generation of sports cars, but we also made a pledge to create memorable moments for our owners, enthusiasts, and colleagues across the world, to celebrate this significant moment in Aston Martin’s history. In a season where Aston Martin has risen to become a new force in Formula One, there is no place or time more fitting for our celebrations to take centre stage than here at our home race at Silverstone where we’ll receive huge support this weekend.”
The New Formula One Facility
The 400,000-square-foot Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One Technology Campus was also opened by the manufacturer. It will serve as the F1 team's headquarters. The building is the first of three being built at the track. The company will be replacing the existing manufacturing building from 1992 with a new one that has a separate wind tunnel and is currently halfway constructed. Over 700 staff members who work in the team's design office, engineering, production, and manufacturing departments are based in the new facility. Once finished, the plant will consolidate production for the first time in the history of the car. As the producer has success in the racing series, more facilities are being built.

Aston Martin Valour Unveiled with Retro Looks and V12 Engine
Aston Martin seems to have so far kept its promise to debut eight new vehicles over a span of two years. The British carmaker previously introduced the DB12 Super Tourer and has now revealed its latest offering, the even more unique Valour. You may be wondering how it's more unique. Instead of the V8 in the DB12, the Valour has a 705-horsepower (695bhp) twin-turbocharged V12 unit. Additionally, the Valour differs from the DB12 by having a custom manual transmission, even though both maintain Aston's illustrious tradition of sports cars with big engines up front. Further, Aston Martin refers to the vehicle's "end-of-era" specifications, which is undoubtedly an allusion to the imminent dominance of electric vehicles. The brand-new Valour, which caters to car enthusiasts and offers a more analogue driving experience, is limited to just 110 units, which is an appropriate number given that this vehicle marks the brand's 110th anniversary.
The engine is coupled to the stated manual gearbox which might reportedly be discontinued after this edition and a limited-slip differential transfers power from the engine to the rear wheels. Although Aston Martin has not yet confirmed these figures, the V12 Vantage can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in around 3.4 seconds and attain a high speed of 322km/h.
