The second-gen Mahindra Thar will be offered in two variants – AX and LX. While the former is aimed towards adventure seekers, the latter will be more of a lifestyle variant. Here's how they differ from each other.
Mahindra unveiled the second-gen Thar a couple of days ago, and as expected, it’s caught the attention of the masses and how! There are no two ways about this – people are absolutely loving it. Although the new Thar will be launched on October 2, 2020, most of the details, including its specifications, features and variants, have already been revealed. The only thing that we need to know about the new Thar is its price.
The pricing of the new Thar is expected to hover around Rs 13 lakh – Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom). Of course, that makes it a lot more expensive than the outgoing version. However, the key thing to note here is that Mahindra has now loaded the Thar with a lot of creature comforts and premium features. Plus, for the first time, the SUV is offered with a petrol engine as well as an automatic gearbox.
According to Mahindra, the new Thar isn’t just for hardcore off-roaders, instead, it’s been made more liveable on a day-to-day basis. And this clearly reflects in the variants on offer, which we’ll now discuss in detail,
