AIM, a prominent Japanese auto design and technology organization, is showcasing its all-new EV Sport 01 car at the esteemed Goodwood Hillclimb event. The highly anticipated Goodwood Festival of Speed is scheduled to take place from July 13 to 16, and the EV Sport 01 will make its debut at the event, participating in the timed runs under the 'First Glance' category.
The EV Sport 01 – designed by Shiro Nakamura, a former employee of Nissan who handled several prestigious projects, including the R35 GT-R, the Qashqai, and the Juke – was first unveiled in April in Japan. The AIM EV Sport 01 includes twin APM200 motors and torque vectoring technology. Industry reports claim that after the concept's successful debut in Japan, the firm is considering producing a limited series. But before that, the vehicle will be tested on different parameters.
Reports further indicate that the corporation is also using the concept as a platform to examine its APM200 electric motor in a dual-motor, rear-wheel-drive setup. Let's know more about the EV.

EV Sport 01: Mechanical Specifics
In terms of the powertrain, the two-seat coupe houses two APM200 motors, capable of churning out a combined output of 476bhp and 740Nm. According to the firm, an innovative torque vectoring system controls the motors, and the inverter is rated for 720V input and 380 kW output. It further shared that an 81kWh laminate rechargeable lithium battery powers the dual-motor powertrain, providing an estimated driving range of 300 kilometres. The manufacturer has not yet disclosed any information about the performance of the car.
EV Sport 01: Dimensions & More Details
The vehicle is 3900mm long, 1900mm wide, and 1200mm tall. Further, it has an aluminium chassis with many tubular sections and a double-wishbone front and rear suspension system. It gets laminated carbon fibre body panels and other carbon fibre interior components. Additionally, it is equipped with 20-inch wheels shod with 235/35 ZR20 front and 275/30 ZR20 rear tyres.
