2026 Volvo XC60 SUV Makes Global Debut with Exterior and Interior Updates
Volvo has introduced a 2026 iteration of the XC60 SUV for the global market with a range of upgrades, including a larger 11.2-inch infotainment screen.

Volvo has introduced a refreshed version of the XC60 SUV for the global market, with some notable exterior and interior updates. While the Swedish automaker has not officially confirmed the launch of the updated XC60 in India, it is expected to arrive shortly after global deliveries begin. The exterior modifications are subtle, but they make a noticeable difference in the SUV's appearance. The redesigned grille is a standout feature, characterised by diagonal lines. Interestingly, the lines on the right-side angle outwards, overlapping and diverging from those on the left. The XC60 also has new wheel options and darker taillights. In terms of colour options, the updated XC60 will be available in two fresh shades—Forest Lake and Aurora Silver—as well as the new Mulberry Red, making its debut on the XC60.

2026 Volvo XC60: Interior
The most notable upgrade in the XC60’s interior is the 11.2-inch infotainment screen, offering a higher pixel density for clearer, more vibrant visuals. Thanks to the Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, this system delivers a performance boost, operating twice as fast with graphics generation ten times faster than before.

The cabin is furnished with high-end materials, such as ‘quilted Nordico’ leather and ‘navy herringbone weave’ trim, adding a touch of luxury.

For extra comfort, air suspension and laminated windows are available as optional upgrades, while air purification comes standard. The Bowers & Wilkins sound system also gets an update with a sleek new speaker mesh grille positioned on the dashboard.
2026 Volvo XC60: Powertrain
Volvo has yet to confirm any powertrain updates for the XC60, meaning the U.S. version will likely continue to offer the 244bhp, 2.0-litre mild-hybrid 4-cylinder engine in the B5 variant, along with the more powerful 449bhp T8 PHEV, which replaces the 48-volt system with a dedicated motor and battery.
