Hot on the heels of the 2025 Panamera's Nurburgring lap record of 7:24.17 minutes, Porsche has unveiled two Panamera models for global markets – Turbo S E-Hybrid and GTS. The former sits at the top of the lineup with 771bhp, making it more powerful than its predecessor, while the latter is a 'dynamic sports saloon' putting driving experience above everything else.
Both models come powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, with the Turbo S E-Hybrid getting a significant battery upgrade. The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid gets an electrified V8 powertrain, combining a 591bhp twin-turbo V8 with a 188bhp electric motor. The combined power output stands at 771bhp, compared to the previous model. Simultaneously, the torque figure has risen to 1,000Nm, an increase of 130Nm over the old model. Transmission duties are taken care of by an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic.

With 771bhp at its disposal, the new Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid can accelerate from a halt to 100km/h in 2.8 seconds before reaching 325km/h. But, it doesn't end there. In addition to being more powerful and fast, the new Turbo S E-Hybrid offers faster charging times and a better electric range. It uses a 25.9kWh hybrid battery with 45 per cent more energy than before. Using an 11kW onboard AC charger, the vehicle can be fully charged in 2 hours and 39 minutes.
Since it is positioned at the top of the model range, the new Turbo S E-Hybrid gets forged 21-inch centre-lock wheels, rear-wheel steering, 400V Active Ride suspension, and ceramic composite brakes with signature yellow callipers, all as standard. Optional bits include a carbon fibre 'Aerokit' (for increased downforce) and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber tyres.
2025 Porsche Panamera GTS: Power, Acceleration, Speed
Coming to the second variant, the 2025 Porsche Panamera GTS makes 483bhp through the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, up by 20bhp. As a result, 0–100km/h acceleration time comes up in 3.6 seconds, while the top speed is marked at 303km/h. Referred to as the 'most agile Panamera', the new GTS comes with dual-chamber air suspension as standard, which sits 10mm lower than standard versions. Also present is a sports exhaust system, reinforced anti-roll bars, and an electronically controlled PTV Plus limited-slip differential.
2025 Porsche Panamera GTS: Most Powerful Panamera for India
The Indian market won't get the Turbo S E-Hybrid, but deliveries for the new Panamera GTS are expected to commence by the end of this year or early 2025. Upon arrival, the new GTS will be the most powerful Panamera in our country. Priced at Rs 2.34 crore (ex-showroom, India), it slots above the standard Panamera (Rs 1.70 crore, ex-showroom).
Compared to the standard Panamera, the GTS gets HD matrix LED headlamps and taillamps in black, as well as red brake callipers and black GTS logos. It also offers a Sport package, which includes a satin matte-black finish on the side skirts, inserts in the front fascia, side window surrounds, and the rear bumper. The tailpipes of the sports exhaust system in a Dark Bronze colour create a visual contrast. The GTS is equipped with 21-inch Turbo S centre-lock wheels in Anthracite Grey.
