Porsche marks the 25th anniversary of the iconic 996-generation 911 GT3 with the introduction of the 2025 911 GT3 and GT3 Touring. These models are part of the 992.2 generation. They embrace Porsche's evolution-focused approach. They have updated chassis tech with an anti-dive system. Their front and rear designs are enhanced for sharper looks. Key aerodynamic upgrades include a new diffuser, spoiler lip, and underbody fins. According to Porsche, it boosts downforce and optimises airflow. Both models are powered by  the same naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six engine. Potential buyers can choose between a 7-speed PDK automatic or a 6-speed manual. This preserves the classic GT3 driving experience.

The 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 retains its impressive 503bhp engine, although torque has decreased slightly. Despite this, the GT3 remains incredibly fast. It can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.4 seconds with the PDK transmission (3.9 seconds with the manual). The top speed is an exhilarating 312km/h. Both gearboxes have been updated with a shorter final drive ratio for improved performance.

The 2025 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring offers a more understated design compared to the standard model, featuring a rear wingless look. For those seeking maximum weight reduction, the Leichtbau package includes a painted carbon roof, lightweight magnesium wheels, and a short shifter from the 911 S/T.

Inside, the Touring model expands on its previous high-quality leather upholstery options by offering optional rear seats for the first time, catering to customer requests.

Porsche has confirmed that deliveries of the 2025 model year 911 GT3 Touring will begin in summer 2025, with orders starting later this year.
