Porsche has introduced the 2025 iteration of the 911 Carrera T, following the launch of the 992.2 Generation 911 GT3 earlier this month. The new Carrera T features only a manual transmission and is now available as a convertible for the first time. It gets front and back bumpers, four slit-shaped LED DRLs in the headlights, new alloy wheels, and redesigned taillights. Other notable highlights include manual shift pattern stickers on the rear windows and Vanadium Grey Metallic colour on emblems, wheels, and mirror covers. A unique Carrera T exterior kit with blue highlights on numerous elements of the car's exterior is also available. Let's take a closer look at other details of the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T.
2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T: What's More?
The interior of the sports car is distinguished by a new Sport-Tex material for the seats and the fully digital instrument cluster (also found on other 992.2 models). The black Sport Seats Plus have heated cushions and four-way power adjustability. However, they can be upgraded with 18-way adjustable seats made of carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP). There is a shift pattern logo on the passenger side of the dashboard and an 'MT' icon on the centre console.
Similar to the standard Carrera, the 2025 iteration is propelled by a a 3.0-litre twin-turbo boxer engine that produces 388bhp and 459Nm. The coupe version takes 4.3 seconds to go from 0 to 100km/h, while the convertible version takes 4.5 seconds. The top speed of coupe and convertible models stands at 295km/h, and 292km/h, respectively.
Porsche now offers a six-speed manual transmission in the 911 T instead of the PDK dual-clutch automatic. This unit's six forward gears are derived from the seven-speed gearbox used in the previous 992.1 model. It has an open-pore walnut knob and an auto rev-match function that may be turned off. The car comes with a sport exhaust system as standard, which is said to produce an improved sound than the stock one.
The 2025 iteration is the lightweight 911 Carrera at 1,504 kg. This is made possible with a six-speed manual transmission, lightweight glass, and less sound-absorbing material. The optional carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic bucket seats allow for additional weight savings.

The car now sports 13.8-inch front and rear discs with six-piston fixed calipers, compared to four on the previous-generation model. It has reworked anti-roll bars, standard rear-axle steering, and Porsche Active Suspension Management (which is also standard and lowered by 10mm).
