2025 Lexus LX 500d Launched in India with Offroad-Focused Overtrail Variant, Prices Start at Rs 3 Crore
The Urban variant of the Lexus LX 500d features a large grille with silver accents and 22-inch dual-tone alloys, while the Overtrail model has a darkened grille and smaller 18-inch grey alloys.

Lexus has launched the 2025 LX 500d in India, featuring enhanced features and the new off-road-oriented Overtrail variant. The price of the SUV starts at Rs 3 crore for the Urban variant and goes up to Rs 3.12 crore for the new and adventure-focused Overtrail version. Both are ex-showroom figures. While bookings are now open, the delivery timeline remains unconfirmed. The 2025 Lexus LX 500d Overtrail variant stands out with its rugged, adventure-ready design, featuring a darkened grille, 18-inch grey alloy wheels paired with all-terrain tyres, and striking black body cladding. It’s finished in a unique Moon Desert hue, and has a Khakhi-inspired interior.

Other notable highlights include black and darkened tones on the fog lamp covers, roof rails, door moldings, wheel arch moldings, door handles, and outer mirrors. Along with these design upgrades, the SUV also comes equipped with a range of new features.
2025 Lexus LX 500d: A Closer Look at the Features
The 2025 Lexus LX 500d has enhanced its safety with the advanced Lexus Safety System +3.0, which includes a range of driver assistance features like lane departure alert, and adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist. In addition, the SUV is now equipped with the latest Lexus connected technology, offering features such as remote connect, safety connect, and service connect. These cutting-edge features enable owners to easily track the SUV's performance and manage various functions right from the smartphone. Additionally, the front seats now come with a massage function.

Other features include a 25-speaker sound system, dual 11.6-inch rear-seat screens, a wireless phone charger, an 8-inch driver’s display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch display for controlling vehicle functions, a heads-up display (HUD), and a 4-zone automatic climate control system.
2025 Lexus LX 500d: Engine
The Lexus LX 500d has a 3.3-litre diesel V6 engine in both variants that produces 304.7bhp of maximum power and 700Nm of peak torque. This power is distributed to all four wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission, equipped with a standard centre-locking differential for improved control.

However, the new Overtrail variant adds locking front and rear differentials, boosting its off-road capabilities and ensuring superior performance on challenging surfaces.
