When it comes to price and variants, the 2025 Jeep Meridian is available in four trims: Longitude, Longitude Plus, Limited (O), and Overland, with prices ranging from Rs 24.99 lakh to Rs 36.49 lakh. The updated Meridian now includes both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations, leading to a notable Rs 6.24 lakh reduction in the base price. The entry-level Longitude trim is exclusively offered as a 5-seater, while all other variants provide the choice between 5-seat and 7-seat options.

On the other hand, the price of the XUV700 starts at Rs 13.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 25.14 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures

The 2025 iteration of the Meridian features the same 2.0-litre diesel engine, delivering 167bhp at 3,750rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1,750 and 2,500rpm. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a nine-speed automatic torque converter. In line with Jeep’s off-road tradition, the Meridian is available in 4x2 and 4x4 configurations.

The XUV700 is available with two engine options: a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine generating 197bhp and 380Nm torque, and a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 182bhp and 450Nm torque. Both engines come with a choice of six-speed manual or automatic transmission. The 2.2-litre diesel stands out as the most powerful and torque-rich engine in its segment. Moreover, the XUV700 is an attractive option in this class as it offers an all-wheel-drive system.

This suite offers features like Intelligent Speed Assist, Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Collision Mitigation Braking, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Blind Spot Detection, Driver Attention Alert, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go. Additional highlights include dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, front and rear parking sensors with a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, six airbags, ABS with EBD, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The Meridian also integrates connected car features, including Alexa Home connectivity. Feature availability may vary by trim level.

Mahindra XUV700 Interior

The XUV700 also boasts various features, depending on the variant opted for, including 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, DRLs, and taillights. Inside, it offers options for either 6 or 7 seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a large single-unit display with two 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and instrument controls. The interior is finished to a premium standard. The top-tier variant includes Mahindra’s AdrenoX connected car technology, while select variants come with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features as well.
