Two months after revealing that the 2025 Honda Civic would receive a powerful new hybrid drivetrain while losing its optional manual gearbox, the carmaker has introduced many changes to the sporty manual-transmission-only 2025 Civic Si. It gets a revised look like the other 2025 Civic models, along with a few extra amenities and some big tech enhancements, improving its overall performance without raising the price significantly. Since 1986, the Civic Si has been a staple of the Honda portfolio, offering a timeless blend of performance and affordability. The base price of the new Civic Si is USD 29,950 (around Rs 25.07 lakh), before a USD 1,095 (about Rs 91,667) destination fee. Adding summer tyres to that amount will bring the overall cost to USD 31,345 (roughly Rs 26.24 lakh).

2025 Honda Civic Si: Updates
The redesigned Civic Si receives a more aggressive front and rear look as part of the mid-cycle refresh. Performance changes begin with a stiffer chassis, which includes a lower B-pillar and rear door sill. Retuned dampers take advantage of the added torsional rigidity, and customers may now add new summer tyres. Besides the already available sport and normal modes, the driving mode selector now has an individual mode that lets drivers choose whatever specific customisable performance features they wish to activate.
The most notable improvement with respect to comfort is the addition of heated front seats to the already-existing Si-exclusive bolstered bucket seats. A 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster is now standard, and the 9.0-inch infotainment unit includes Google Built-In software. The digital instrument cluster has been carried over from previous facelifted Civic models, and advanced driver assistance features like adaptive cruise control are also standard. Moreover, the car gets a new Urban Gray Pearl paint job.

2025 Honda Civic Si: Powertrain Options
On the mechanical front, the Civic Si's turbocharged 1.5-litre engine, which produces 200bhp of maximum power and 192Nm of peak torque, will be retained, as will the rev-matching six-speed manual gearbox. Furthermore, shifts from second to first gear can now be integrated with the manual transmission's auto-blip downshift capability. Honda says the Civic is the best-selling manual gearbox vehicle in the United States so far this year.
According to the Japanese carmaker, the updated 2025 Civic Si will go on sale next month. It will only be offered as a sedan, exclusively with a manual gearbox, and only with summer tyres as an option.
