2024 Honda Amaze Teaser

Honda has officially teased the 2025 Amaze ahead of its global debut, building anticipation among car enthusiasts. This new-generation model is set to feature notable updates in design and technology, making it a strong competitor in the compact sedan market. As the launch date approaches, there is growing interest in how the 2025 Amaze will compare to rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Hyundai Aura.

Commenting on the official teaser, Takuya Tsumura, President & CEO, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, 'The Honda Amaze has always been a special product for us and our customers in India. As a pioneer in premium styling for entry sedans, the Honda Amaze has always set the standard for design and sophistication in its segment. With the 3rd generation, we are excited to take this to the next level, offering our modern Indian customers an enhanced premium package like never before.'

2024 Honda Amaze: The Teaser

Although specific details about the third-generation Honda Amaze remain scarce, the teaser image hints at its front-end design. The 2025 Amaze is expected to draw design elements from the latest Honda City, showcasing a bold, wide grille with the Honda logo prominently positioned in the centre. The front bumper is set to adopt a sportier look with more dynamic lines, while the bonnet will showcase muscular creases to emphasise its athletic stance. The teaser further suggests that the headlight design for the new Amaze will closely resemble that of the Honda Elevate.

Other bits indicated by recently spotted test mules include a shark fin antenna at the back, smoked taillamps, a reverse camera, and three headrests for the rear-seat occupants. Furthermore, the third-generation Amaze will feature a shorter wheelbase compared to the City sedan (2,600mm) and the Elevate SUV (2,650mm). For the uninitiated, the Amaze currently has a wheelbase of 2,470mm.

2024 Honda Amaze: Expected Powertrain

The car's drivetrain is expected to remain unchanged after the update, featuring a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine paired with either a CVT automatic transmission or a five-speed manual gearbox. This engine delivers 90bhp of maximum power and 110Nm of peak torque.
