EV enthusiasts have been paying attention to performance-oriented electric vehicles (EVs) because they're eco-friendly and exciting. Since its debut in 2021, Audi's e-tron GT electric Grand Tourer has fascinated drivers. Audi is poised to update the e-tron GT, aligning with the strategy employed for the Porsche Taycan. This facelift promises several improvements, both in terms of technology and performance. Recently, Audi showcased what's to come with a prototype featuring some minor exterior changes.

2025 Audi e-tron GT: Design

In the official photos, the Audi e-tron GT prototype stands out without any camouflage. Its detailed paint job is the major thing that makes it different from the upcoming production model. Even though it looks similar at first glance, a closer look shows that it is slightly different from the current RS e-tron GT. It has a new air intake and a redesigned grille cover on the front bumper. There's also a new diffuser at the back. Aerodynamically optimized alloy wheels finished in a classy black colour complete the look.

2025 Audi e-tron GT: What to Expect?

Audi's e-tron GT is getting an exciting upgrade based on Porsche Taycan's powerful electric motors. With this improvement, the e-tron GT should perform better, giving the driver a more enjoyable electric driving experience. The e-tron GT's charging capability will also receive an additional higher charge rate of up to 320 kWh. This is a big step up from the current standard of 270 kWh.

The addition of the top-of-the-line RS Performance model to the e-tron GT range is one of the most important changes. Expectations indicate that the RS Performance model will surpass its predecessor in power. It will likely have a performance range from the 637bhp of the previous RS e-tron GT to the amazing 939bhp of the newly released Porsche Taycan Turbo S

To make driving more fun, Audi is going to release an updated dynamic suspension system with hydraulic motors, similar to the Porsche Dynamic Ride system. This new technology is going to improve both comfort and drive.

Industry insiders believe that Audi will showcase the updated e-tron GT lineup in the next few weeks or months, although Audi has not disclosed a specific release date. This will only add to the excitement for this groundbreaking electric car.
