The latest iteration of the Audi e-tron GT, which mostly features mechanical modifications, will be available in three variants: S e-Tron GT, RS e-Tron GT, and RS e-Tron GT Performance.
The 2025 e-tron GT from Audi has received a range of significant updates that will make the electric sports sedan an even more alluring substitute for the Porsche Taycan. Similar to the Porsche, the Audi e-tron GT lineup has undergone a thorough redesign. The latest iteration of the GT, which mostly features mechanical modifications, will be available in three variants: S e-Tron GT, RS e-Tron GT, and RS e-Tron GT Performance. For the uninitiated, the Performance variant is the most powerful and fastest production car Audi has ever produced. Other improvements come in the form of an appealing aesthetic makeover along with subtle interior updates. Read on to learn more.

2024 Audi e-tron GT: Visual Improvements
The revised model keeps the majority of the stylistic cues from its predecessor when it comes to design. To differentiate itself from the others, each variant receives an exclusive set of design components. While the S model has a more conventional look, the RS variants possess a sportier appeal. The e-tron GT has a two-dimensional version of Audi's four-ring emblem and new grille designs for 2025.
The RS models have larger side air intakes with distinctive "L-shaped" components, while the entry-level S features glossy black trim encircling its grille. A variety of new wheel designs go along with the car's redesign. Besides, the RS twins come with new multispoke 20-inch wheels in addition to forged 12-spoke wheels, mimicking the "Avus" set that made its debut on the 1991 Avus Quattro concept. Bedford Green is a brand-new paint job, exclusive to the Performance model. This new version is also the first Audi to come with a matte carbon roof that may be ordered with new carbon camouflage parts.
2024 Audi e-tron GT: Mechanical Details
The powertrains of all variants are equipped with two electric motors, one at the front axle and one at the back. The S E-Tron GT's setup belts out 670bhp, the Audi RS E-Tron GT's 844bhp, and the top-of-the-line RS E-Tron GT performance variant generates a staggering 912bhp. These outputs, however, vary depending on the variant. Moreover, the S E-Tron GT takes 3.4 seconds, the RS E-Tron GT takes 2.8 seconds, and the RS e-tron GT takes 2.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h. The top speed of the S E-Tron GT is 245km/h, whereas it stands at 250km/h for the other two models.
Additionally, the RS versions have a boost function that can give the vehicle an instantaneous power surge of up to 70 kW. To ensure even power distribution, Audi has also claimed to have strengthened the driveshaft in the engine and lowered the weight of the rear electric motor by 10 kg. Another mechanical improvement is the incorporation of a larger brake system. Air suspension with two-chamber/two-valve technology is standard on the e-Tron.
The e-Tron also gains a larger battery pack (105kWh as opposed to the previous 93kWh). It has a 609km (WLTP) range, albeit Audi hasn't disclosed the range for every variant. With optimal conditions, Audi claims that the battery can fast-charge from 10 to 80 per cent in just 18 minutes, thanks to a 50 kW increase in maximum charging capacity to 320 kW. The battery weighs 9 kg less than its predecessor, which weighed 625 kg, although having a bigger capacity.
2024 Audi e-tron GT: Interior Updates
The e-tron GT gets less noticeable interior alterations. The Virtual Cockpit, also known as the digital gauge cluster, now provides more detailed information regarding the EV's battery (temperature, preconditioning, and real-time charging rate). The Performance's display features a configurable white background, a tribute to the white analogue instruments of the 1994 Audi RS2 Avant, while the RS models have trim-specific content. By simply pressing a button, a recently introduced panoramic sunroof can switch between clear and opaque glass.
The e-tron GT from Audi boasts a redesigned steering wheel with a squared-off shape, new seat designs with illuminated logos on the seatbacks, and redesigned upholstery overall. Along with new interior trim components, the top-spec Performance model now comes with carbon camouflage and birch options. The former has contrast stitching in Serpentine Green, which looks striking with the recently painted Bedford Green.
