The all-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Hybrid has finally been unveiled globally. For decades, it was known for its boxy look, durability, and off-road capabilities. However, over time, it was transformed into a costly, luxury seven-seater SUV, diluting its distinctive appearance and part of its ruggedness. It's clear that the current Lexus GX served as an influence for the vehicle's classic design and boxy, upright proportions. The new Land Cruiser from the Japanese automaker will be available in several trim levels with basic 18-inch wheels and all-weather tyres, with the option to upgrade to 20-inch wheels for an additional cost. The new Cruiser is based on Toyota's new international TGNA-F truck platform, which also underpins the Tundra, Sequoia, and the all-new Tacoma. Proportions that are boxy and upright complement the traditional design.

2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado: Design
It's clear that the current Lexus GX served as an influence for the vehicle's classic design and boxy, upright proportions. The FJ62 and the highest-end variation are noticeably different in appearance from the basic Land Cruiser 1958 and the Land Cruiser with rectangular headlights in the middle trim. The 2024 Land Cruiser First Edition is available as well, with a production run of just 5,000 cars. It looks more robust and off-road ready than the standard model, thanks to its bigger wheels and other features.
Black, Meteor Shower, Wind Chill Pearl, Ice Cap, Underground, Trail Dust, and Heritage Blue are the seven standard colour combinations, with the last two being available with an alternative roof.
