2024 Toyota Camry Elegance vs Sprint Edition: Cosmetic Variations
The main distinction between the standard Camry and the Camry Sprint lies in the enhanced sporty design of the Sprint Edition, primarily focused on the exterior. The Sprint Edition features blacked-out accents, such as a sleek chrome strip on the lower bumper, and gloss black trim replacing the body-coloured elements seen on the standard version.
Although the alloy wheels are the same size and design, the Sprint Edition sports an all-black finish for a more dynamic appearance. Additionally, the black pillars and roof of the Sprint Edition differentiate it from the Elegance trim. The ORVMs are also blacked out in the Sprint Edition, while they are body-coloured on the standard model.
At the back, the Sprint Edition includes a new blacked-out split spoiler and a faux diffuser, adding to its athletic look. Inside, the layout remains similar to the Elegance variant, with the addition of ambient lighting. The features mentioned above are included in an accessory package that can be purchased from an authorised Toyota dealer. While the exact price is yet to be revealed, it is anticipated to cost more than the base model. Customers will also have the option to choose accessories that match the car's exterior paint job.
2024 Toyota Camry: Powertrain and Feature Suite
The Sprint Edition employs the same powertrain as the standard model, featuring a 2.5-litre inline-four petrol-hybrid engine. This setup delivers a total output of 227bhp and 221Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via an e-CVT transmission, which also includes a ten-speed Sequential Shift mode for a more interactive driving experience. The 2025 Toyota Camry is claimed to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 7.2 seconds, with a top speed of 180km/h.
