Since its introduction to the Indian market, the Swift has become a fan favourite among compact car buyers. Because of the affordable price, it has become popular among both budget drivers and those who simply enjoy the thrill of the open road. The current generation of the Swift, which debuted in 2018, is getting close to the average lifespan of a car model. A new generation is on the horizon, and a concept is being revealed today as a teaser for its official premiere at the Japan Mobility Show, which will be hosted at the Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Centre at the end of this month. Although the dashboard design is slightly different, the new Swift's interior is reminiscent of other recent models in Maruti Suzuki's Indian lineup, such as the Maruti Fronx and Maruti Grand Vitara.
2024 Suzuki Swift Concept: Design
The Swift concept, which Suzuki has just revealed, looks very much like the final product. From the outside, it looks like the design is more of a refinement over the previous generation than a radical departure from it. The fundamental profile and proportions are similar to the present iteration, with the exception of sharper panels and window lines.

Sharper LED headlights, LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and a compact oval-shaped grille with a honeycomb pattern are among the new additions. The hatchback's side appearance has been updated with standard door handles while maintaining the distinctive "floating roof" silhouette. The back of the car has been updated with a new bumper, taillights and tailboard that all feature C-shaped lighting elements inverted and framed in black.
2024 Suzuki Swift Concept: Interior
With the exception of the dashboard, the new Swift's interior is virtually identical to that of other recent Maruti Suzuki vehicles sold in India, such as the Fronx and Grand Vitara. The new Swift concept's inside is a mix of black, gloss black, and white, but a different colour scheme may be used for the India-bound version. The interior photo reveals a 9-inch touchscreen display located in the middle of the dashboard, while not all of the new Swift's features have been made public. The new Swift will likely retain popular options like push-button start/stop, cruise control, and automatic climate control, and it also comes with a twin-pod analogue instrument cluster.
The new Swift is expected to have multiple airbags, an ESP, a hill-start assist, and a rear-view camera for driver safety. The manufacturer has also stated that ADAS features like high-beam assist and autonomous emergency braking (AEB) will be standard on the hatchback.

2024 Suzuki Swift Concept: Expected Engine
The new Swift will likely continue to use the same 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine that produces 90bhp of power and 113Nm of torque, but it will be modified in some way, most likely through a mild-hybrid system. It will likely be available with both a conventional 5-speed manual gearbox and an automatic 5-speed manual gearbox (AMT). Furthermore, a CNG kit may be made available as an add-on in the future.
