The all-new Cayenne S E-Hybrid for the 2024 model year and the ensuing Coupe version have been unveiled by Porsche. The model has been introduced as the third plug-in model of the automaker's luxury SUV series. The battery now has a capacity of 25.9kWh. The SUV's overall performance has also been significantly improved as a more noteworthy part of the latest update. The Cayenne E-Hybrid now churns out a combined power output of 505bhp and 750Nm of torque when the 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 and its electric motor are operating at full throttle. With deliveries starting in November this year, Porsche is already taking orders for the new model in Europe. The 2024 Cayenne S E-Hybrid is powered by a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine from Porsche that generates 343bhp and an electric motor that generates 172bhp, for a combined system output of 505bhp as well as 750Nm of peak torque. The electric motor is driven by a 25.9kWh battery and an 11 kW onboard AC charger, allowing the car to be charged in around 2.5 hours using a standard Level 2 charger. According to the company, the new Cayenne S E-Hybrid can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 263km/h.

On the exterior front, the variant has two dual tailpipes at the rear that are made of brushed stainless steel and 20-inch Cayenne S wheels that are 20-inch in diameter. While the Coupe variant receives the black exterior package, it also comes standard with a silver exterior package. On both variations, standard Matrix design LED headlights with automatic high beams are available. Additional standard features include adaptive air suspension with two-chamber, two-valve technology.

The Cayenne S E-Hybrid interior features eight-way adjustable seats, the Sport Chrono option, stainless steel pedals, and the Diamar interior package in Silvershade. Drivers also gain access to new functionalities through Apple CarPlay, including the ability to access car functions via a third-party app. For added convenience, a passenger-side screen is available. The cabin features of note also include a new air quality system that may filter out particles and harmful compounds, as well as in-car video functionality for the front-passenger screen which is an optional feature. Safety features like blind spot warning is also available.

2024 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid: Price
Porsche is currently taking orders for the Cayenne S E-Hybrid, with cars expected to arrive at dealerships across the US by the spring of next year. As for the prices, the Coupe is priced at USD 105,650, while the regular Cayenne S E-Hybrid version has a price tag of USD 100,750.
