Maruti Suzuki’s new Dzire, available in four variants (LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+), has a starting price of Rs 6.79 lakh, with the top variant priced at Rs 10.14 lakh. This introductory pricing is valid until December 31. Additionally, the carmaker is providing a subscription plan starting at Rs 18,248/month, which includes registration, insurance, maintenance, and roadside assistance. The sedan continues to offer petrol and CNG options.
In contrast, the Hyundai Aura remains the most affordable choice in this segment, with prices ranging from Rs 6.48 lakh to Rs 9.04 lakh. It is available in E, S, SX, SX(O), and SX+ trims, offering both petrol and CNG options. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.

The latest iteration of the Dzire is equipped with a new 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine, producing a maximum power of 80bhp at 5,700rpm and peak torque of 112Nm at 4,300rpm. For the CNG variants, power is slightly reduced, delivering 69bhp at 5,700rpm and 102Nm of torque at 2,900rpm.
Meanwhile, the Hyundai Aura runs on a 1.2-litre petrol engine, also available with a factory-fitted CNG kit. In CNG mode, this engine generates 68bhp and 95Nm, while in standard petrol mode, it produces 82bhp and 114Nm of peak torque. Transmission choices include a five-speed manual and an AMT. In terms of dimensions, the new Dzire spans 3,995mm in length, 1,735mm in width, and 1,525mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,450mm and a ground clearance of 163mm.
On the other hand, the Hyundai Aura also measures 3,995mm in length but is slightly narrower at 1,680mm and shorter in height at 1,520mm. The Aura offers a ground clearance of 165mm and has a wheelbase identical to the Maruti Suzuki model at 2,450mm.
