Mahindra has launched the updated version of the XUV300, the XUV 3X0, in India. The price of the car starts at Rs 7.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 15.49 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom. As part of the facelift, it gets new powertrain options, a redesigned interior with extra features, and completely new front and rear styling. Similar to the XUV700, the XUV 3XO also has a new trim naming system and is offered in nine trim levels: MX1, MX2, MX2 Pro, MX3, MX3 Pro, AX5, AX5 L, AX7, and AX7 L. In the domestic market, the Mahindra XUV 3XO goes up against other popular compact SUVs like the Toyota Taisor, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Kia Sonet, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. Mahindra XUV 3X0: Powertrain Options
Coming to the engine and gearbox options, the base and mid-level models have a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that generates 109bhp of maximum power. It is available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter. Next is the 1.5-litre diesel option, which produces 115bhp and can be had with a 6-speed AMT transmission (which costs an extra Rs 80,000 over its manual version). The 3XO's most potent option is the 1.2-litre, turbo-petrol, 129bhp mill, which comes with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
