In the domestic automotive market, the subcompact SUV sector is currently the most competitive one. Therefore, to remain relevant and pique customers' attention, car manufacturers must continuously upgrade their respective models from time to time to put the best out there for the buyers. In keeping with this, Kia India recently unveiled the updated Sonet. This is the first facelift the sub-4-metre SUV has had since its release in 2020, and it comes with a broader equipment list in addition to a few cosmetic changes. The same range of engine choices and trim levels as the previous generation have also been maintained by the South Korean automaker. It is important to note that the price of the model will be officially revealed early next year. However, the pre-bookings for the facelifted Sonet are scheduled to start this week onwards. Interested customers can make reservations either through the nearest Kia dealership or via the brand's official website. In terms of rivalry, the 2024 Sonet is set to go up against the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Renault Kiger, Hyundai Venue, Nissan Magnite, and Mahindra XUV300. Lane keep assist, lane follow assist, and lane departure warning are among the ten capabilities available with the ADAS technology. The Sonet has a total of 25 safety features, six of which are standard and are almost identical to those found in Nexon.
