Kia India is gearing up to launch its facelifted Carnival MPV on October 3, 2024. The MPV will arrive alongside the EV9 electric SUV, marking a significant step in the company's strategy to expand its electric portfolio in the country. Kia will offer the updated Carnival in two variants – Limousine and Limousine Plus – and a single 7-seat configuration.
Bookings for the new Carnival are underway for a token amount of Rs 2 lakh, while deliveries will begin soon after that. Though the price announcement is some time away, we are well-acquainted with the upcoming MPV and its feature-rich cabin. The exterior elements include a wider tiger-nose grille, vertically stacked LED headlamps (with 'Star Map' LED running lamps), power-sliding doors, new 18-inch alloy wheels, and connected LED taillamps. Now, let's take a close look at what features you get with each variant:

Powering the 2024 iteration of the Carnival is the same 2.2-litre diesel engine as its predecessor. The engine makes 197bhp and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission sending power to the front wheels. The Kia Carnival facelift will likely be brought to our shores through a CBU (completely built unit) route, with local assembly planned for a later date.
