The 2024 iteration of the Wrangler marks its debut in Europe. It has arrived in the European markets with a 4xe hybrid powertrain. The hybrid technology and the four-cylinder gasoline engine are together said to deliver a power of 375bhp. According to the automaker, this hybrid powertrain can be modified by drivers using various E Selec modes, whether they choose to operate entirely on electric power, a combination of electric and combustion power, or save battery power for a particular situation. The Eu-spec vehicle is available in two variations: Sahara and Rubicon. Both receive the new seven-slot grille like the US-spec model, but each has unique accents. The first batch of 2024 Jeep Wranglers is anticipated to reach European showrooms in the first half of 2024. Jeep said that all of its vehicles will provide an electrified alternative by 2025, and it will become an EV-only brand in Europe by 2030.

2024 Jeep Wrangler: Design & Features
The 2024 Wrangler comes equipped with five new standard and optional wheel styles — ranging in size from 17-inch to 20-inch, a trail-ready stealth antenna incorporated into the front windshield, a revamped seven-slot grille with black textured slots and neutral gray metallic bezels, etc. Anvil is a new exterior color option that joins Earl, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, High Velocity, Hydro Blue, Sarge, Bright White, and Black.
Further, the updated version gets ''Multiple open-air freedom options, including two available standard hardtops (black and body color), exclusive Sky One-Touch power top, Sunrider for Hardtop, and dual-door group with half doors, mean there are multiple door, top and windshield combinations so Wrangler customers can customize their off-road adventure to their specific needs.''
Inside, the improved hands-free voice recognition with a microphone array technology is standard on all models. However, the highlight of the cabin is a standard 12.3-inch "Uconnect 5" touchscreen infotainment system, which replaces the previous 8.4-inch unit and offers more features. According to the brand, it is the largest and most sophisticated display ever installed in a Wrangler and is powered by updated software that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additional interior features include a standard 9-speaker Alpine Premium Audio system, acoustic front glass, thicker carpeting, additional sound-deadening foam, etc. All models now come standard with Drowsy Driver Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Information Systems, and other safety features.
2024 Jeep Wrangler: Powertrain
In terms of the drivetrain, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe edition from 2024, uses the turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with an electric motor and a 17 kWh battery. This configuration offers a combined power of 375bhp and 637Nm, and asserts a WLTP range of up to 51 kilometre in an urban setting. The company claims that drivers can alter this hybrid powertrain utilizing several E Selec modes, whether they want to run totally on electric power, a blend of electric and combustion power, or save battery power for a specific circumstance.
All Jeep Wrangler 4xe models also come with the new 4xe Power Box, which has four 230 Volt plugs and enables the battery pack to power external devices like phones and tablets.
Additionally, the automaker will offer a 268bhp, 2.0 litre, turbocharged, inline four-cylinder engine with 8-speed automatic transmission for people who want a more conventional combustion engine in a limited number of Wrangler models for select markets. In the official release, the automaker stated ''To meet the demand of customers for a traditional powertrain, a limited batch of the 2024 Wrangler 2.0-liter turbocharged I-4 engine will go on sale in selected markets such as Germany, Italy, Poland, and Spain.''

''The 2.0-litre turbocharged I-4 engine, which meets European Euro 6D-Final emissions standards, is part of the Global Medium Engine architecture family and features Double Overhead Camshafts (DOHC), dual independent camshaft timing, and a cooled exhaust gas recirculation (C-EGR) system.''
As mentioned above, the first batch of the 2024 version is anticipated to arrive in European dealerships in the first half of 2024.
